200 G1 MT
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On boot up, cpu fan not detected  press F1 to continue.  Fan is running.  This has happened on 3 of the same models.

CPU fan not detected

@Kiska2020

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...
I have run into this same problem on desktop PCs, and it seems to be a fault in the fan sensor -- one that is, unfortunately, not repairable.

If the fan is indeed running, then go into the BIOS settings and look for the option to disable the sensor monitoring.  That will prevent the message from displaying in the future.

There is no option to disable sensor and I have even reloaded the Bios.  Any other ideas?

HP was of little help.

Thanks,
