Hello all!
I have been trying to upgrade my HP desktop CPU, computer is a model P6604f
when i download the specs for this computer and go to the CPU section under compatible upgrades it gives me this

- Max TDP: 95W

I ordered this CPU from eBay
AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2 GHz Quad-Core CPU Socket AM3 HDZ955FBK4DGM Processor
when i fire up the computer a blurb come up something to the effect of trying to load a incompatible CPU and will be shut down if any one can help would be appreciated!

the power of your power supply will not change anything, it is the motherboard which is incompatible only 95 w tdp
