After getting XMP profiles enabled, I was able to get my OMEN 30l to boot w/ non-HP factory installed RAM. Here's what I have in it (working fine).
Bank Locator BANK 1
Device Locator Controller0-ChannelB-DIMM1
Manufacturer Kingston
Serial Number A135A5AC
Part Number KHX2666C16/8G
Memory Size 8192 MB
Maximum Memory Speed 3200 MHz
Memory Type DDR4
Type Detail Synchronous
From everything I read, this PC should allow up to 32GB of RAM. However, if I try to add another stick identical to the one that's working, it throws me into the Auto-repair loop and refuses to work w/ anything other than the one 8GB stick.
Here are the other particulars for this PC:
Any ideas as to why it's not accepting the other memory stick? There are 4 RAM slots on this board.
Thanks!

@JMWI -- There are 4 RAM slots on this board.
If your first stick is in slot #1, try the second stick in slot #3, if it does not work in slot #2.
Do both sticks of RAM have the same manufacturer (Kingston) and speed (3200) and capacity (8GB) and the same number of memory-chips on each side of each stick?

Thanks!
Memory sticks are both identical mfg, specs etc.
Actually got it working w/ both in DIMM slots 2 and 4 and assume 1 and 3 would work as well but...
After installing both, I booted w/ F10 to enter Bios and switched to XMP 1 setting(3200). Seems to be running perfectly now.
Appreciate the help 🙂
