I used the current bin from HP again just wanted to see if I can get to POST at least.

The programmer verifies the flash afterwards so I'm not really sure if I have to dump the board now or if there still is a way I could try.

My (very limited) knowledge has come to an end now tho.

Hi @haftting

I don't know what has happened.

Have seen a lot of success stories, when the PC can POST, in many HP Forum threads using the Aptio V AMI Firmware Update Utility.

Never tried a Serial BIOS programmer. Can't vouch for this method but Adamant IT is a very good PC Tech.

Will not suggest using the Serial BIOS programmer in the future. It seems to be causing more harm than good.

Don't get me wrong, I really appeciate the hint and at least I was able to try it out that way.

Just because it didn't work out for me, this may be a good solution.

It's just that I don't know what I can try further now.

Hi @haftting

I would find a local PC tech who does BIOS programming and BIOS chip replacement. Get a quote.

Maybe replace the MB if the quote to fix this MB is high.

You have a good: MB (LGA 2066) and CPU (I9-7920x).

Hello @Bill_To,
hope you are doing well

I tried the solution you provided, both using 0839F.bin and 0839FF65.bin, but I am getting random beeps (sometimes 8 long beeps which is not available in the beep guide hp provided). I am able to restore bios to F.67 and try flashing new bios again. Any bios older than F.65 I used I get the error "problem verifying flash" on ami v aptio.

Could you help with this matter?
Thanks in advance
