Some Microsoft updates, especially feature releases, take a long time. Anything over 30 minutes is a problem though.
Turn off, unplug from wall, press power button 3-4 times to discharge residual power, then after a few minutes turn back on and see if it works.
If it does not turn on then hold power on button for 30 seconds.
Did this happen after a power surge?
After windows update?
After BIOS update?
