My HP Pavilion m9077c, currently running W10, cannot access the boot menu no matter what keys I use.
While I have posted this problem before with no successful results, I want to ask the question differently.
When I first purchased the computer (under W7 I think), I am assuming that when I booted up and hit the ESC key, I entered the boot menu.
Is there a way that I can reload the original configuration on this computer??

Greetings @knut97
Welcome back to the Forum.
You can use W10 but can't do "ESC" to get to the HP Startup Menu. Is this correct?
Are you using a wireless keyboard?
Windows Fast Startup in Control Panel>Power Options can also cause this problem.
I also disable hibernation so a shutdown really shuts down Windows when you turn off your PC.

I have tried every key combination to access the boot menu.
I am using a wired keyboard and Fast Startup is not active.
My main reason that I want to access the boot menu is that I have installed Linux on the computer, but cannot get to the boot menu to run. Cannot also use WSL for the same reasons.
I really can't understand why or how the blue startup screen became inactive. I am assuming that it originally worked and that is why I would like to go back.

Greetings @knut97
I run Linux as a standalone OS on separate PCs.
You might have a Grub or other Linux boot loader/Windows Boot Manager problem or a Secure Boot issue.
I used to dual boot Windows and Linux when things were simpler.
I can't assist.
