Dear all,
I messed up my workstation and I do not know how to proceed. In summary:
1. I changed the battery on my motherboard as I was getting the "161 Real Time Clock Power Loss" error
2. After reboot, I got access to the BIOS setup and accidentally changed the display to VGA (my previous setting was an NVIDIA card)
3. Now when I reboot, the machine gets stuck with an error that requires access to the BIOS (I hear the beep sound right after booting up).
Because of the change of display to VGA in the BIOS, I cannot change the settings and reboot. I do not have a VGA cable for my monitor.
Is there a way to override the BIOS setting of the display without being able to access it?
Alternatively, is there any document with a complete set of screenshots of the BIOS menu? I may be able to navigate it without being able to see it on my screen.
Any help will be appreciated. This machine was transformed into a Linux server many years ago and I am somewhat desperate now that I cannot access it.
Cheers.
