Hi @Beilawa1,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you forgot the password for your HP Pavilion TouchSmart 23-F254 All-In-One Desktop PC, there are a few methods you can try to regain access to your computer. Here are a few options.
- Password Reset Disk: If you created a password reset disk before forgetting your password, you can use it to reset your password. Insert the password reset disk into the computer and follow the on-screen instructions to reset the password.
- Microsoft Account: If you use a Microsoft account to sign in to your computer, you can reset your password online. Visit the Microsoft Account Recovery page on another device, enter your email address or phone number associated with the Microsoft account, and follow the instructions to reset the password.
- Another Administrator Account: If there is another administrator account on the computer, you can use that account to reset the password for your user account. Sign in to the other administrator account, go to the Control Panel, and open the User Accounts section. From there, you can change or remove the password for your user account.
- Safe Mode: You can try accessing the computer in Safe Mode and see if you can log in with the default administrator account. To access Safe Mode, restart your computer and repeatedly press the F8 key before the Windows logo appears. Select "Safe Mode" from the Advanced Boot Options menu. If you can log in, you can change the password for your user account through the Control Panel.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
