HP Slimline 260-a119na
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My slimline 260 crashed and window wont be able to start properly, quip going on repairing window, scanning c drive and window autorepair will not solve the problem.

I try use system recovery and restore of window 10 to send the pc on factory settings still not working for me.

so I need to reinstall window from external source. and i spend two days trying to change the BIO setting in order to boot from the dvd and still not working for me.

Cant boot my Slimline 260 from DVD drive

Hi:

Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to help you boot the PC from a DVD.

If you followed the instructions, that should have worked and why it didn't, I have no idea.

Since neither of us can figure out what the issue could be, then I suggest you use the Media creation tool and create a USB installation flash drive instead of saving an ISO file to a DVD.

You can clean install W10 for free by using the Media Creation tool at the link below...

Create a USB (you will need an 8 GB USB flash drive) installation flash drive.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Now, when you want to boot from the flash drive, start the PC and tap the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen.

That should give you a menu of options.

Select the F9 boot options menu, select the USB flash drive and press the enter key.

Then the PC should boot from the USB flash drive and the W10 installation script should begin.

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know how to fix that problem, but you can google the error code like I did, and you will find some suggestions such as these...
