Hello, caps lock light is blinking 5,3

Please help, there is important data on my laptop

This is not a good sign.  Error codes are here

The red light blinks five times, and then three, short white light blinks (5 long red, 3 short white)

This condition indicates that the embedded controller cannot reach the BIOS within the established time limit.

  1. Remove all accessory devices from the notebook.

  2. Contact HP Customer Support if the issue persists.

Try item 3 below, the "key press" to recover bios.

If you send the laptop in be sure to advise the rep to return the original hard drive if it is necessary to replace the  unit.

 

If it cannot be (easily) repaired then remove the drive and  use a USB adapter to copy documents to a flash drive
