Change BIOS language from German to English

Hello everyone. My PC Envy 860-023ng came in German language. Both windows and BIOS. I am trying to change the languge but i cannot. First of all I want to change BIOS language and then try to format the PC. Can you help please?

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

You bought a PC that came with German BIOS and Windows, and it might not be possible to change BOTH TO English -- and even then, that might not work.

All I can suggest is using the BIOS download from this page to flash the BIOS:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-phoenix-860-000-desktop-pc-series/8499708/m...

When I went to your product page and selected Software and Drivers, I selected English -- so this will be an English language BIOS.

Understand there are no guarantees, and if this BIOS flash "bricks" your PC, then we and HP can not be held liable for that damage -- so you are using this at your own risk.

Thank you for your suggeston WAWood. During this time i tried an other option that worked. By entering Bios, i presed F8 and a list of different languages came up. There i choosed english and now is everything fine.

Glad to hear it was that simple.

I'v never bought a PC running a non-English language, so I've never seen that language option in the BIOS.

Works fine - the third tab, first option is "Languages", can be changed there. Ver from 2017-07
