My EliteOne 840 G9 came with Wolf Security installed, but since it conflicted with other security software, I uninstalled it.
However, since the boot splash screen still says "HP Wolf Security" (with the distinctive Wolf logo), I would like to change the boot splash screen to a neutral "HP" screen.
I have researched the subject, but could not find any applicable solution.
Any advice or information....? Thanks.

Might be you could try this post:
i also don't like that logo,
after refer that post,
i download HP Client Management Script Library (CMSL) and install it.
it also works on laptop,
i successfully changed boot logo on my elitebook 865 g9,
Only one thing have to mind,
in lastest's powershell, it need to use cmd to change its policy :
Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned
then you can execute the cmd without error:
Set-HPFirmwareBootLogo -file "C: \Your File Location\mylogo.jpg"
after logo change,
set powershell's policy back:
Set-ExecutionPolicy Restricted
after reboot, the logo has changed.

Thank you for your response, but since this a brandnew desktop, I am not sure if the linked information (2019) is still applicable for my model.
I don't want to "tinker" too much, but if any step by step instructions are available for this particular desktop model, I surely would appreciate it.
(I have tried several suggestions mentioned online, but none of them work for this new model).

Even though your PC is latest this year,
the boot firmware chip is still using UEFI standard,
if there is no newer standard to replace it.
(It like old bios firmware chip,
it took a lot of decades widely using in most PC and notebook before 2010.)
So my 2022 hp elitebook 865 G9 notebook still fits well for that method shared by 'HHH003'.
due to the firmware is using UEFI.
Anyway,
i just share the idea for replace boot splash,
because of HP provides the tool for change image in firmware easily,
you can determine if using it by yourself, if you worry about any issue.
