Hi @Ahmed247,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Pavilion Desktop might be experiencing a problem related to the monitor or the signal connection between the PC and the monitor. The beeping and the “Check signal cable” message are both indicators of potential hardware issues. Here are some steps to troubleshoot.

Check Cable Connections:

  • Ensure that the cable connecting your monitor to the PC is securely plugged in on both ends. If you have a VGA, HDMI, or DisplayPort cable, try unplugging and replugging it.
  • Inspect the cable for any visible damage. If possible, try using a different cable to see if the issue persists.

Verify Monitor Input Source:

  • Make sure the monitor is set to the correct input source. Sometimes monitors have multiple input sources (e.g., HDMI1, HDMI2, VGA). Use the monitor’s menu to select the correct input source.

Test with Another Monitor:

  • If you have access to another monitor, connect it to your PC to determine if the issue is with the monitor or the PC.

Check for Loose Components:

  • Open the PC case and ensure that all internal components, such as the graphics card, RAM, and cables, are properly seated.

Inspect for BIOS Beep Codes:

  • The beeping could be a BIOS beep code indicating a hardware issue. Check the PC's manual or the HP website for information on beep codes related to your model.

Reset BIOS/CMOS:

  • Resetting the BIOS or CMOS can sometimes resolve issues. You can do this by removing the CMOS battery from the motherboard for a few minutes and then reinserting it.

Power Cycle:

  • Turn off the PC and unplug it from the power source. Wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and power it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
