Hi All,
This machine is almost 3 years old - runs well once it's going, but from a cold boot it shows a checksum 502 error and requires a restart to boot properly.
I have run all system tests and they check out just fine. I did find a post saying the BIOS should be updated, so have done that via the HP support tool and it's now on v F.30, but the issue persists. It's not affecting use once I have jumped through the hoops to log in and use the device - but it's very annoying to get to that point.
If I shutdown and then restart within around 15 mins it starts up fine - the problem happens when the power has been off for an extended period of time.
Has anyone any ideas other than the flash BIOS fix? (battery is fine by the way)
Thanks,
