OMEN by HP Obelisk Desktop 875-0014
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A few weeks ago, I began getting BIOS checksum errors every time I startup my PC (cold boot). The product number is 4NM65AA#ABA. Does my PC have a CMOS battery that might need to be replaced? My system is just over three years old, so that seems to be a bit too soon to need to replace the battery. Perhaps the checksum error is being caused by something else? The checksum error does not appear when I perform a restart (warm boot).

Prométhée: I'm not sure what you're suggesting I do. Should I replace the CR2032 battery in the motherboard?

HP Recommended

read the link i gave you
it is advisable to try the bios default option
if that doesn't work then replace the battery...
it may be a more serious problem
