Hello,

My chromebook 14 wont turn on no matter what I do. I tried plugging in the charger to it but the orange light (or any light) wont turn on. I tried plugging the charger into different outlets and it wont turn on. I'm not sure what is wrong with my computer.  I used it last night and it was just fine. Does anyone know what's wrong?????

Two of the ports (at the bottom?) can be used for charging. Do both ports fail to charge or light up?

Try a hard reset?

Does the "wall wort" have an led to indicate it is getting power from the wall?

If you think the adapter is bad try a USB3 -> USBC data cable.  Use a USB2** port but do not turn on the chromebook.  It will draw too much power from the USB3 port if turned on at same time as charging.

Use an old USB2 charge wall plug.  Do not use any USB port on a computer as too much power drain may harm the motherboard.

Yes both ports won't work. I tried a hard reset but that didn't work either.

Bring it in to any retail store that sells it and see if their power adapter can charge it.  Thats about all I can think of.

Sorry!
