@Tenuri, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It sounds like your HP Envy laptop might be stuck in a restart loop or encountering issues during an update. This can be frustrating, but there are several things you can try to fix the problem:

Force a Hard Shutdown:

Press and hold the power button for about 10–15 seconds until the laptop completely powers off.

Wait for a minute, then press the power button again to turn it back on.

Boot into Safe Mode:

Turn the laptop off again by holding the power button for 10–15 seconds.

Power it back on and immediately start pressing the F8 key repeatedly.

This should bring up the Advanced Boot Options. Select Safe Mode.

Once you're in Safe Mode, you can try to uninstall the update or restore your system.

System Recovery:

If Safe Mode doesn't work, try to access the System Recovery Options.

Power off the laptop.

Power it on again and press F11.

In the Recovery Manager, select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore or Startup Repair.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
