Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This Compaq CQ2000 got into a loop when it tried to upgrade to Windows 11.

First the system kept on trying to boot then it just died.

A working Hard Drive was installed but nothing happens.  The power button remains blue, the screen remains black and both fans are running.

I wonder if the BIOS has been corrupted somehow.

Any help would be appreciated

OK, I tried resetting the CMOS, removing the battery, waiting, then replace it.

Now the PC tries to boot, I can hear the harddrive or the CD drive spinning up.

It keeps on trying to boot every few seconds.

F10 doesn't do anything.

At least something is happening!
