I had this same issue of my desktop always starting with "HP PC Harware Diagnostics UEFI", other than this issue, there are no other issues...All the tests came back as PASS. This issue was resolved after I re-installed the windows...a few weeks ago.

Unfortunately since yesterday, this issue came back again.

Is there any way to uninstall this particular software??

Thanks.

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, your computer boots to UEFI diagnostics page,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Press Windows and R key on the Keyboard to open Run Dialog Box.

2. Type msconfig.

3. In System Configuration, General Tab, select normal boot as shown in the figure given below:

4. Click Apply and Ok.

5. Restart your computer.

Let me know how this goes,

Have a great day 🙂

Cheers!

I have the same issue. I tried the msconfig and the normal startup is already selected. Tried toggling to diagnostic startup & back to normal again but no success. Still starting HP PC Harware Diagnostics UEFI.
