I bought a computer over 2 years ago I’m pretty sure and it was working great, until my charger broke and my computer died. I haven’t replaced my charger, and it’s been over 1 year now. I just wanted to know if my computer would still work if I bought a charger for it.
Ps: It’s been buried under a pile of clothes that I never wear so I don’t know if that effects it or not.

Hello @Emely2
If it's a notebook, the battery could be deeply discharged and no longer charged due to the long <idle time>. If the charger was defective and it's replaced, notebook could work. Then you would only have to check whether battery is charged or not and replace it.
if it's a computer, the PSU (power supply unit) should be checked and replaced ( if required ).
If you know someone who is good with computers he/she can surely help you.
