HP Recommended

I recently got this older computer from my dad and last night when I pressed the power button it started doing beeps with the power button flashing orange. These were 5 beeps with a pause until the beeping started again. This repeated 4 more times, with a total of 25 beeps, after which the beeping would stop but the flashing would continue. Nothing is displayed on the screen, and by that I mean that the "NO SIGNAL" icon appears. My keyboard and mouse don't connect and I a m baffled as to what to do.

 

If this is important, once I got the desktop I replaced the hard drive with a solid state and I switched from integrated to external graphics.

 

Please help!! (In the case that someone replies, please try to dumb down what you say as I'm no too tech-savvy)
