HP Recommended
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My screen is blank except for the message "boot device not found".  Says to install an operating system. What can I do?

If the original HP Warranty is still valid, contact HP support to get them to replace the disk-drive.

If the warranty has expired, then any qualified computer technician can replace the disk-drive.

for how to obtain a copy of Windows 10, as customized by HP for your specific computer.

Install Windows from that copy.
