Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thank you for sharing the image and product details.
Based on the image, the HP All-in-One 22-df0003w is displaying a "Boot Device Not Found (3F0)" error, which means the system is unable to locate a bootable Windows installation on the internal storage drive.
Please follow these recommended steps:
Step 1: Run HP Hardware Diagnostics
- Turn off the computer.
- Press the Power button and immediately tap F2 repeatedly.
- Select Component Tests > Storage.
- Run the Quick Test first.
- If available, run the Extensive Test afterward.
Result Interpretation:
- If the storage test reports a failure or provides a Failure ID, the storage device may require replacement.
- If the storage test passes, continue to the next step.
Step 2: Verify the Drive is Detected in BIOS
- Restart the computer and tap F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS Setup.
- Under the Storage, System Information, or Boot Options section, verify that the SSD/HDD is listed.
If the drive is not detected:
- Turn off the system.
- If comfortable accessing the hardware, ensure the storage drive connection is secure.
- If the drive remains undetected, the storage device may need attention.
Step 3: Restore BIOS Defaults
- While in BIOS, press F9 to load default settings.
- Select Yes.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Restart the computer.
Step 4: Check Boot Order
- Enter BIOS again using F10.
- Open Boot Options.
- Confirm that OS Boot Manager or the internal SSD is listed as the first boot device.
- Save changes and restart.
Step 5: Perform Windows Startup Repair
If the storage drive passes diagnostics and is detected in BIOS:
- Create a Windows 11 installation USB on another working computer.
- Connect the USB to the HP All-in-One.
- Power on the system and tap F9 repeatedly.
- Select the USB drive.
- Choose Repair your computer.
- Navigate to:
- Troubleshoot
- Advanced Options
- Startup Repair
Allow Windows to check and repair boot files automatically.
Step 6: Reinstall Windows (If Required)
If Startup Repair does not resolve the issue and diagnostics continue to pass, reinstalling Windows may restore the operating system.
Before reinstalling, recover important files if they are not backed up.
Based on the error shown in the image, the most important first step is running the F2 Storage Test, as that will confirm whether the issue is related to the storage hardware or Windows boot files.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
