Computer not starting

HP Recommended
Model number: p-7 - 1235
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I've had this computer for a long time now, and this is the first time something like this has happened. Now whenever I start up my computer, it goes to a blue screen that has the hp logo on it, and it says, "press the ESC key for startup menu". The ESC button doesn't work. Then it beeps a couple of times, and goes to a black screen with white lettering in the top left, along with a flashing dash beneath the words. The words are something along the lines of "NVIDEA GeForce" "Copyright (C) 1996-2014 NVIDEA Corp." Along with a whole bunch of random numbers and letters. I've tried everything from restarting the computer, rebooting it, and even using 4 different keyboards. I've recently unplugged the power strip that everything computer related was plugged into before this started happening, so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it. I need this computer for work, so please help ASAP.
