I got my computer fixed a while ago for a heating issue, and when I got it back there was a crack in the bottom which I did not realize until a bit later. My computer still overheats everytime I plug it in, even when I have the vent area clear. My computer is also randomly freezing everyday and I have to restart it. I have run tests and diagnostics but it has not been of any use. My warranty expired, but every since that initial fix, my computer has been encountering issues
edit: as soon as I posted the review my computer froze again for the 4th time today! It's only 1:07pm

Hi @Zoie12350
Welcome to the HP Forum.
Sorry to see you are having a thermal issue.
I can only suggest you have a Local PC Tech disassemble the Laptop.
The Tech can clean the internals using compressed air or a Dust Buster and replace the fans. Maybe replace the CPU thermal paste.
Your PC may have not been fixed if it continued to overheat immediately after a factory repair. You did not specify how much time passed between the factory repair and the subsequent recurring thermal problem.
