HP ENVY Desktop PC TPE01-3000i (4M0M1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I bought a new HP Envy Desktop computer, after using it for less than a month the computer was shutting down if it was idle on the lock screen for some time.

The first thing I did was I checked all power and sleep settings and everything was fine, I did all kinds of windows, Drivers, and Bios updates, I checked event viewer and bios settings, re-installed windows twice etc.... Nothing helped so far.

I tried everything possible and looked all over online for the answer, the computer might be a lemon and I can't return it anymore.

I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone else had this issue and was able to resolve it.

Once again the issue is that "the computer shuts off after being on lock screen idle for some time, like about 2 to 3 hours."

Thank you

Update: I think the issue is that my fans turn off when the computer is idle and that overheats the computer causing it to shut off.

Any ideas on what I should do?
