HP ENVY Desktop - 795-0137cb

I tried to restart my PC normally and in the process it appeared that the BIOS was being updated and it got stuck on the black start up loading screen with the spinning dots and HP logo on it. I was told by somebody that I should not try to force restart my computer (turn it off and on again by pressing the power button on the cpu), because it was in the middle of a BIOS process and doing so good permanently damage my computer, but to contact HP instead.

Turns out my warranty is expired and I have no way of contacting HP? Now I am unsure what to do. Do I leave my computer on this loading screen loop forever?

What should I do?
