My computer turned off while using it. It now wont turn back on.
(have tried pressing power button for the 15 seconds etc and nothing)
The power plug adaptor (half way along cord box) has a green light on it which is constantly on (when power cord unplugged).
When I plug the power cord into the back of the computer it changes to a flashing light.
the computer still will not power on or show any light on the on button on the actual computer to turn it on.

Hi, thanks for your response, as mentioned in the post, I have done the 15 second power button procedure and there is no response.
If this part doesn’t turn on, am I correct that I can’t do the rest of the steps in the document you attached?
thanks Lisa

Hi @lisafranklin,
This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this web link.
Note: Select your country from the dropdown, enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.
Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
