I just bought a "rehabbed" Elite 8300. Plugging it in for the first time, I get a bios error message that the date / time is incorrect. If you repeatedly get this message, you need to change the CMOS battery. So I went out to Walgreens and bought a 2032 battery, plugged that in, and now see that you have to enter CTRL-P to enter bios. I do that and get a line "Entering MEBX Setup menu..........." and nothing else. Pressing CTRL-P again adds a new line "Entering MEBX Setup menu ......"
Help.

Hi:
To enter the BIOS setup menu, you have to press the ESC key at startup to get the menu of options, and then select the F10 setup option.
Within the setup option you can set the time and date.
See the service manual at the link below, chapter 3, page 18 for how to set the date and time.
