Microsoft Windows 11

So my cursor literally does not work. It’s not even showing up on the screen. I’ve literally tried doing all of these things to try to fix it, but most of the methods (somehow) involve clicking something so I don’t really know what to do. I’m a student and this laptop is my main device.

@EmmaMp -- if your computer does not detect an external mouse -- connected to a USB port on your computer -- or your laptop's touchpad, then something is really wrong.

Have you tried an external mouse, either connected to a USB-port, or connected wirelessly to your computer, or connected via Bluetooth (if your computer has Bluetooth support) ?

Or, perhaps, the hardware of your touchpad has failed, or the tiny cable that should be connecting your touchpad to the laptop's motherboard is no longer connected.

Summary: try an external mouse.

Or, if your school has a "Computer Help Desk" that helps students with their computer issues, contact them.
