Product: HP Envy 750-427c

Hi! I had my HP Envy 750-427c serviced by HP a few years back to replace a failing motherboard. When they replaced it an error kept coming at boot, I reached back out and they wanted $99 to fix it- and I didn't find it inconvenient enough to pay to fix it. Recently, I installed UnRAID on it and it has become very inconvenient to hook up a monitor every time it restarts for updates. I've been doing some research and came across the mention of DMIFIT for fixing this exact issue- but I've been having trouble obtaining/finding the version I need to use for this specific model. Any help is appreciated!

Hi:

 

You are correct but unfortunately, that software is HP proprietary software and is not available for public download/access.

 

So, your only options would be to take the PC in to an authorized HP repair facility and have the BIOS 'tattooed' with the correct information or live with the inconvenience as you are currently doing.
