I'm trying to access the BIOS on a CQ1110UK desktop unit but it shows a blue square with a key symbol. I believe I have reset the BIOS by removing the battery, power and holding power button in for 60 seconds. Which I assume worked because it default the date time to 2008, but still prompts for password. Some other postings suggest you should just press ENTER 3 times and a code should appear but that doesn't happen here, it goes straight to no boot drive found as I have not set the new hard drive up yet. Is there a default password for a reset BIOS v7.13 ? I assume I cannot load the updated BIOS v7.14 Rev A without the password?
