Desk top computer freezes on start up.

My Desk top freezes on start up. It gives 5 beeps, 3 long and 2 short.

Usually it's a memory module problem.
check if you have two modules, try one then the other

It will probably be necessary to replace the faulty memory..
if you have other information about the history of this computer?
