Hi, I have a HP Deskpro G2 SFF box with Linux Mint installed. It was working OK but I wanted to re-install a later version. I noticed that the BIOS was set to Legacy Boot and No Secure Boot option. I set it to No Legacy Boot and No Secure Boot option and tried to install a later version running in UEFI mode.
Now when I try to boot the system, I note that the CPU fan starts but I do not get any output on the display or any audible alarms either. Left it to run for a while without success. Then went through all the diagnostic steps provided by the HP Virtual Assistant without success. HP Help Desk simply told me that given it was manufacured in 2016 they cannot provide any support - thanks very much HP!
I suspect that it could be a PSU issue as I had already replaced the CMOS battery and reset the CMOS switch a couple of times without success. So, I unplugged the power supply to the mobo and tested the 2 pairs of cables but did not see any voltage from either one of them - expected to see 12V DC on them.
I have run out of all troubleshooting options now short of replacing the PSU but wondering whether anyone else has any suggestions.
Thanks.
