Desktop failed to boot

HP Recommended
HP Pavillion 6000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Desktop has power, but Blank Screen

LED light for HD does not turn on

Tried Cold boot, Reset.

Checked components

Nothing works.

Bios also does not come up

I am not a HP employee.


Sorry, I can't find your PC's specifications using Pavilion 6000. Please look at the chassis for a HP sticker showing the product number only.


Hardware failure rates increase directly with the age of the PC. I don't know the age of your PC.


Your symptoms suggest a hardware failure.


Hardware failure diagnosis requires looking at each component. Swapping in known good replacement components until you find the bad part.


It is best to have a local PC tech do the diagnosis unless you like to do this stuff and have all replacement components required to find the bad part.
