Product: HP Envy 27
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My desktop will not turn on. I have plugged it into different outlets and the computer will not turn on. When I press the start button, the start button light turns on and the screen lights up as if it is going to start. However, the screen light turns off 2-3 seconds after it turns on. The screen then remains black as if it were never powered on, although the start button light remains on. Any advice?

Most likely is a failure of the power-supply or a failure of the motherboard.

Neither can easily be fixed.

It's time to either exercise the HP Warranty, if it has not expired, or take it to any computer technicican.
