Hi, it's a pavilion m9265?

Unchanged from original factory machine. I tried another monitor and new cable but same results. Even put a new battery in it

Hi Mandy,

I can'find your PC using the product number Pavilion m9265.

Do you have a discrete graphics card or are you using on board (integrated) graphics.

It seems like you may have a graphics card problem.

Try a different graphics card if you are using on board graphics.

Remove the discrete graphics card. Try on board graphics if your PC has a discrete graphics card installed.

This is all I can tell you at this point.

Well I am back to report, this morning I decided to hit the power button again....nothing.  My son stopped by after work to take a look at it, and would you believe, he hit the power button and it loaded up!!!!!  How does that happen??  I mean, I'm thrilled, but I spent sooo much time on this thing this weekend and HIS touch worked.  I realize it wasn't his actual touch, but is it possible that new battery just took a while to charge everything?  I'm at a loss.  Either way, I am going to use this time to now and wait for Cyber Monday or Black Friday and look for a good deal on a tower or a Laptop.  Anyway, I just wanted to share and thank you again for all your help.  I have to believe all the suggestions in some way brought it back to life.
