My desktop won't start up and will only bring me to a blue and black screen. Stating "Boot Device Not Found, Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk - (3F0)" Problem occurred when an update was in place and the desktop was accidentally unplugged, when I went to turn it back on it brought me to this screen. I've tried many things but have come to no avail. No components to the desktop are missing so I'm unsure what to do, any recommendations would be great to hear, thanks.

@10N3 -- unfortunately, the great amount of disk-drive activity to update your computer was "too much" for your disk-drive, and the disk-drive has failed.
What is the model-number of your computer?
If you purchased the computer within the last 12 months, contact HP Support, and they will repair/replace your computer, at HP's expense.
Otherwise, take your desktop computer to a local owner/operator computer store, for them to replace your disk-drive, and to install Windows onto the new disk-drive. Ask them if your computer will support a SSD (solid-state device), because that device is 5 times faster than a "spinning" disk-drive.

HP Pavilion 590-p0127cb Product Specifications
if it is no longer guaranteed
are you able to do some manipulations, see if necessary replace the hard drive yourself
Replacement of a hard disk by yourself if necessary, possible for less than 100€
With a pro, maybe double!
Up to you
