Hi @Ceralbo,

If you're experiencing a "Device Freeze" message on your HP EliteDesk 705 G4, it could be related to several issues, including security settings, software updates, or hardware problems. Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:

  1. Check BIOS Security Settings: Sometimes, HP devices have security features that can cause a device freeze if certain conditions aren't met. You can check the BIOS settings by restarting your PC and pressing F10 to enter the BIOS menu. Look for security features such as "Secure Boot" or "Device Guard" and ensure they are configured correctly.

  2. Update Drivers and Firmware: Visit the HP Support website and enter your product number (3AE43AV) to find the latest drivers and firmware updates for your device. Keeping these up-to-date can resolve software-related freezes.

  3. Reset the Device: If possible, perform a factory reset on the device. This can help eliminate any software issues by returning the PC to its original state. Ensure you back up important data before proceeding.
