HP 15-au020wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Since 2 days weird sound came when played a youtube or vlc video so I restarted the laptop and it go stuck at hp then went to automatic repair did full extensive system test but it passed all the hardware test. So I guess it's an windows update issued maybe I shut it down while it was installing the previous night. Next day I tried going to recovery option in boot manager but then it automatically started and went to windows screen. Today same thing happened so did soft reset from advance trouble shooting options resetting pc loop completed then it got stuck at please wait loop for 4 hours so I shut it down by pressing power button 5 seconds again tried to goto recovery option but it gets to please wait loop and could not go any further.its an windows update or some issues you guys could help me with it. Help me I need to keep the data inside the laptop so suggest solutions accordingly.

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...

Sounds like you turned off the PC before it was able to complete a Windows Update cycle -- and this basically leaves the PC in a corrupted state, from which it can not recover on its own.

First thing you need to do is see if you can restart in Safe mode -- by doing these steps: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2304-boot-into-safe-mode-windows-10-a.html

If you don't know how to start using Advanced Startup Options, then read this: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-boot-advanced-startup-options-windows-10-a.html

Then, follow these steps to reset Windows Update: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/24742-reset-windows-update-windows-10-a.html

If these work, when you finally reboot, you should then be able to login to a working Windows desktop.
