Product: HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-0037nl

Does HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01 have a CD or DVD reader? or the one that is in the front face, near the power button, is there only for aesthetics?

So the one in front is just for aesthetics or has some utility? like I have to buy an optical drive to plug in that spot or I can't do that?
