HP Recommended
Product: HP EliteDesk 800 G6 Small Form Factor PC (8YM57AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

EliteDesk 800 G6 Small Form Factor PC, Windows 11, won't restart or boot with docking station attached. Dock is Orico 5 bay hdd hot swappable, SATA disks. 3.1 USB.  BIOS and Windows up to date.
Turn off docking station, everything works fine. Start Dock after button boot & works without a hitch.
Mega searched the net with no luck. PC out of warrantee so no help from HP.
Tinkered with several BIOS settings(Thunderbolt settings especially) to no avail. Moved to several 5gb USB and 10gb USB ports. No change.
Big nuisance but don't want to part with docking station convenience.
I'm burned out on trial & error but would appreciate responses from others who might have had this problem and how they solved it.
Would also be interested to know how wide spread this issue is and if it's product specific (Orico or HP).
