When I was Restarting my laptop after the screen froze and crash and restarted it by holding down power and pressing it again it went dark for a minute and started to have the envy logo and start up but it hasn't booted up after so long of waiting and tried to reset it again with the power button but got sent to the auto repair but I'm unable to get out of it or repair my laptop. After after trying F11 it works and get the error code 0xc0000225 and saw other people had the same issue, I ran out of things to do so I need help.

Hi @blue124,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Error code 0xc0000225 typically indicates a problem with the boot configuration data (BCD) or the system files needed for Windows to start. This error often appears when Windows fails to locate the necessary files to boot properly, which can be caused by corrupted files, a failing hard drive, or issues with the boot configuration.
Here’s a detailed guide to help you resolve the 0xc0000225 error on your laptop:
1. Access Advanced Startup Options:
Restart in Advanced Startup:
- Force Restart: If your laptop isn't booting properly, you may need to force restart it. Press and hold the power button until the laptop turns off. Press the power button again to turn it back on, and immediately start pressing F8, F11, or Esc repeatedly (depending on your laptop brand) to enter the Advanced Startup Options.
Access Repair Options:
- Select Troubleshoot: Once you get to the Advanced Startup Options menu, select “Troubleshoot”.
2. Repair Boot Configuration Data (BCD):
Open Command Prompt:
- Troubleshoot Menu: Go to “Advanced options” > “Command Prompt”.
Run Boot Repair Commands:
- Rebuild BCD:
- In the Command Prompt window, type the following commands one by one and press Enter after each:
- Restart Laptop: Close the Command Prompt and restart your laptop to see if the issue is resolved.
3. Check Disk for Errors:
- Run Check Disk Command:
- Command Prompt: Open Command Prompt again as described above.
- Execute Disk Check:
- Type the following command and press Enter:
- Replace C: with the drive letter where Windows is installed if different.
- Follow Prompts: Allow the scan to complete. It will attempt to fix any file system errors or bad sectors it finds.
4. Perform System File Check:
- Run SFC Scan:
- Command Prompt: Open Command Prompt.
- Execute SFC Scan:
- Type the following command and press Enter:
- Wait for Completion: This will check for and repair corrupted system files.
5. Use System Restore:
- Access System Restore:
- Troubleshoot Menu: Go to “Advanced options” > “System Restore”.
- Follow Prompts: Select a restore point before the issue started. This will revert your system settings and files to a previous state.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
