Hi,

Thanks for the video.

You have a 3:4 BIOS error code. This is a power system failure error which indicates a hardware driven event.

  1. Reduce to minimum config (CPU, System board, PSU, 1 DIMM of memory) and isolate failed component.
  2. Reduce further if issue persists.
  3. Test known good PSU.
  4. Replace affected component.
  5. If unable to confirm source, replace CPU, System Board, PSU.

This error requires HP factory service. Contact HP Support (Link) for assistance if in warranty. Out of warranty status would require a local PC technician to isolate and replace the bad component. Most components are integrated on the motherboard. So it is probably a power supply, RAM, CPU, or motherboard problem. It looks like you have a discrete AMD GPU so this could be a point of failure.

Thanks you very much for the useful informations. I will send it to the local repair shop since it is out of warranty,

Hope it could still be repaired.

hi

@leagan  Before going to a repair center
see if you can try it yourself
This model seems to be equipped with a graphics card
If you can remove it, you may be able to use the computer.

Hi,

You're very welcome.

@leagan,I already mentioned the discrete graphics card.

You can troubleshoot if you feel comfortable working with components. You will need replacement parts as you go.

Thank you.

But not sure whether the graphic card can be removed? This is what inside the AIO.

Hi @leagan,

Thanks for the image again.

Tough to isolate a discrete graphics card using the image. I see (from left to right):

The platter HDD, The next component appears to be a M.2 drive but your PC configuration (Link to specs) only shows a platter HDD. This could be the graphics card.

The next component is the RAM.

A WIFI M.2 card. Finally the heatsink covering the CPU.

The rear I/O is as follows:

Rear IO.png

Can you trace the rear HDMI input and output to the component that appears to be a M.2 drive on the motherboard?

@leagan

This is the motherboard (MB) in your AIO:

MB.png

The HDMI I/O is integrated in the MB. The M.2 socket is not the graphics card, it is a M.2 SSD.

It looks like the graphics may be integrated in the MB. It may be best to have a local PC technician take a look.

The M2 next to the HDD is the SSD I added myself. Cannot find any piece. While the piece next to the CPU fan is Wifi. I will try find the graphic chip again by tracking from the HDMI.

Once again thank you for helpful and prompt responses.
