Hp compaq 8100
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I went to install some files from my second hdd which did not have windows onto my main hdd and it crashed. When I went to boot i see the screen telling me i have a failing hdd, mine is new. I also tried unplugging, rebooting switching, etc. All to no effect.

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...

So, your PC crashes when the second drive is connected but not when only the first drive is connected?

If that is the case, sounds like it is try to boot from the second drive by default, and if that drive is failing, it will crash.
