I’ve been looking around in the forum and it seems like error codes aren’t posted publicly and I was wondering if anyone could look it up for me.
I ran a system extensive test and got:
Failure ID: M09XPS-9H8BQ7-GXGJ2K-40C003
Product ID: 3LA58AA#ABA
The description claims my memory module 1 is the problem, but when I run a component test on the module it passes
Thank you all!

Hi:
Unfortunately, the codes don't mean much.
Most of the failure code provides the serial number of your PC and other superfluous information.
Here is the link to the latest HP failure ID code check website.
HP Customer Support - Service Center
The site isn't even working right now.
I entered your PC's product number (which is correct), and it tells me to enter a valid product number.
Did you run the Windows memory diagnostics test? If not, I recommend that you do.
Within 15 or so seconds of running the test, it will report in yellow text that there is a faulty memory chip and to contact your PC manufacturer for support.
If you don't get a message like that, cancel out of the test.

Yes, I’ve run the Extensive Memory Test and passed. That’s why this is confusing to me as that seems like I’m getting conflicting results between the two tests where one says the memory stick is bad and another says it’s good.
Thank you again for your help.

You're very welcome.
The parts list for your PC indicates that it came with 8 GB memory chips, so unless the parts list is wrong, your PC has 2 x 8 GB of memory.
I recommend that you test each memory chip in the primary memory slot (normally labeled as DIMM 1 on the motherboard).
It may be something as simple as the memory needing to be firmly reseated.
This service teardown video appeared when I entered your PC's model number in the HP YouTube support video library.
Hopefully it will be of help to you.
