Hi @Mahesh103,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Being locked out of your HP 15.6" Laptop (15-fc0000 series) can be stressful, especially when both fingerprint and PIN fail and no reset option appears. But don’t worry—your files are still intact, and there are safe ways to regain access without losing data.

1. Try Using Your Microsoft Account Password

If you signed in to Windows 11 using a Microsoft account:

  • On the login screen, click “Sign-in options”
  • Choose “Password”
  • Enter the Microsoft account password (the one you use for email/Outlook, etc.)

Still not seeing the option? Restart your PC and disconnect from Wi-Fi before trying again—this can prompt different login methods to appear.

2. Use Another Device to Reset Your Microsoft Account Password

If you’ve forgotten it:

  1. On another device, go to: https://account.live.com/password/reset
  2. Reset your Microsoft account password
  3. Reboot the laptop and log in using the new password

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
