My dad has this old computer he used when he was around 30, (I am currently 19), and he used it a lot. But then he got a new computer, so that one was never used after those years. I got it, but he lost the mouse. He found a replacement, though. Now it sounds like a floppy disk beep (I don't even have one in this computer) while the number lock LED turns off on the keyboard, and there is no screen, and there is a flash on the power button. This is after 2 seconds of turning it on. Please help.

Hi @Test_V1D-s
It looks like you have a hardware problem.
Mainstream support for this product seems to be gone. I can't find any HP site to check components HP used at the factory.
Maybe a different forum member can do this.
Could be the power supply. You might be able to replace this part.
Other replacement parts may be hard to find given the age of your PC.
Try eBay or similar sites for parts. Or have a local PC tech troubleshoot the problem.
