Hello everyone,

I have just encountered a problem that I could not solve alone, and I am hoping for help, please. Each time I boot, the system prompts me with the following error:

***************************************

FW Status Error

Intel Management Engine Firmware

Full Recovery of the Intel Management Engine Firmware failed, because the system was unable to find a valid firmware image file.
Intel Management Engine related functionality will be unavailable. Please install the latest version of Intel Management Engine Firmware to complete full recovery.   (CONTINUE)-button.

***************************************

Of course by pressing the "Continue" button, it goes to the desktop, and all is well to the finish. It doesn't affect the use of the computer except that it annoys me by seeing this error message each time I start the machine.

Now, I have updated the BIOS (02.11.00 Rev.A Dec 17, 2021 sp136499.exe) and also the Firmware (Intel Solid State Drive (SSD) Firmware Update - Intel SSD FW Rev.A Aug 14 2020 - sp107348.exe)

Both of the updates were done by right-clicking the setup and "Run as administrator" on desktop but NOT at boot (USB).

 The Windows is 21H1 version.

I need help to have the full recovery successfully done, please, since as it is now, the Firmware Status error persists each time I start the machine.

Many thanks to you all.

Hello again everyone,

I have solved this problem out of desperation. I am writing this for others having the same dilemma. Now, in fact after a long search here and there, I noticed what Joel_R wrote in his reply to Satyam-Cyc which seemed to be related to my struggle.  I am referring to the message 2 of 8 on  ‎03-13-2019 10:44 AM in this link:

I followed it step by step, and there we are today. Flawless. SOLVED, thanks to Joe_R.

Thanks to everyone, particularly to Joel_R.
