I have compared the motherboards and i believe they are compatible but you might have to install new Chipset drivers and the one you are looking at has On-board Graphics along with 1Gig Ethernet. It's a small upgrade but i believe they should work. You might also have to reactivate Windows after changing the motherboard but that should not be a problem as long as WIndows is genuine.

Hi,
Might be a bit late in this repy, to me it seems like the video card memory. ASSUMING from your 1st previous post that you can boot into Windows OK in Safe Mode. This tells me that it only goes corrupted when 'normal' Windows starts to load?
Can you press F10 when it 1st turns and go into BIOS without display corruption?
Your model dos not have integrated video, so do you have another video card you can try? or borrow one?
Safe mode does not load any specific drivers for your card. It only loads 'standard video card' drivers which are really basic and don't initialise any of the features of your card. Booting into 'normal' mode will load the nvidia/AMD drivers for your specific card nd may then introduce the memory corruption.

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
Your guess is right.
- PC can boot up into Windows with no problem in Safe mode.
- Yes, PC can load BIOS when I pressed F10 without any problems.
X I am busy looking for someone who can lend me a video card.
You are right that my motherboard does not have an integrated graphics. If I would not find someone who has a spare video card, I will look for a cheap PCI Express graphic card for testing. Which right PCI Express graphic card should I get?
Cheers!

I think that it is a reasonable price for 2 GB card from amazon, see https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GeForce-Passive-Silent-Graphics/dp/B01AY7927A/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=15...
Hope that this is right one. 🙂

Hi,
Yep, that card will be fine. Althouh the link you posted was for a 1GB card. If you can afford it, this is for a 2GB card:
Also have a look on Ebay.. You might pick up a bargain there too.
Cheers - Michael.

Hi,
I am still nervous about purchase new graphics card that replace old Nvidia Geforce GTX 260 in HP Pavilion Elite HPE-083uk Desktop PC.
- MSI GeForce GT 710 Passive Silent 2 GB Graphics Card (https://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-GeForce-Passive-Silent-Graphics/dp/B01AY78MLM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=15...)
- Gigabyte GV-N730-2GI GT730 Graphic Card (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00LHLB1WC/?coliid=I1Y5500U7MM54W&colid=2GR62P0YZ5QZM&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_l...)
- ASUS Nvidia GeForce GT 710 GT710-SL-2GD5 2Gb GDDR5 PCI Express Graphics Card (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B074Q4QF4J/ref=psdc_430524031_t4_B015T3TDR8)
You can vote which one is the best option, or else you can have other cards across your mind. I believe that they would not accept the return if it would not be compatible with my PC.
Thank you!
